Instructions for our games.

Watch this space for a sneak preview.

Last week was all about persuasive writing. We tried desperately to convince people to buy all sorts of things.
Will you buy them??

We had a fantastic time at the Pioneer Activity Centre this week.  Despite the constant rain, we managed to have a go at superb activities.
We went caving, rock climbing, abseiling, did the high and low ropes.  Quite a few of the year fives got to the top of the telegraph pole and did the leap of faith.  Only Ben managed to catch the trapeze though - well done Ben, you looked like superman!!

Back to school this week class. Down to the serious business of WORK.
This is Harry taking the leap of faith.

An then there was George.

Homework

Hi class.  This half term I've decided to give you the a booklet of homework.  You can decide what order you do it in, if you do the whole lot in one go, or hand it in to me weekly.
It's up to you.
Everything is related to the geography topic we're doing.
The only thing I expect is everyone to hand in at least 1 piece of work for each activity.

You will find a copy waiting in your folder so have a sneak preview if you want.

Thursday, 2 February 2012

This week's homework.....

Write a newspaper report about the town visit and how you are going to make a town trail with the information.
You have until next Thursday to write it.  You could include some pictures if you like.

This Week

We had a fabulous trek around town to survey people's opinions.  Thanks to everyone who gave up their time to answer our questions.  Most people were really helpful and we chose a really sunny day too!!
We managed to take some great photographs that we can hopefully use for our town trail app.

In the meantime  have a go at the decimal game at the bottom of the page and keep up the great work.

Read some of the extracts from our diaries:

The food was going quickly.  Rose seemed to be getting thinner and thinner each day.  That worried me.
